The JLT Cold Air Intake With Snap-In Lid For 15.17 Ford Mustang GT was engineered to minimize air restriction and flow 33.77% better than stock. This kit comes with a fully enclosed airbox that protects the filter from dirt and keeps out engine heat. JLT Mustang intake kits do not require a tuner nor any special tuning in order to provide a performance increase.

Premium Silicone Components - The air filter, coupler, and lid seal are all made with silicone. Silicone is a premium rubber which will seal better and last longer. It handles temperatures as high as 400F without cracking or tearing and won't deteriorate over time.
New Hight Flow Lid For Increased Airflow And Sound - In addition to our large signature clear lid, the 75-5142 Intake includes our new high flow lid. This Unique lid design features multiple laser cutouts that feed the filter more air. This results in better performance and a more aggressive intake sound.
No Check Engine Lights - JLT devotes a huge amount of resources to engineer our intakes that allow your engine to run properly with stock calibration or enhanced tuning. An injection molded MAF plate in conjunction with a foam MAF sensor gasket ensures a true OE seal to the sensor. . The 5.0L Mustang features an aluminum CNC lathed crankcase breather connection, that ensures a perfect snap-on fitment.
